Interested in a kitchen remodel? Our team can help from start to completion! We have the skills and tools needed to transform an outdated kitchen with new custom cabinets or refacing.

What sets us apart from other general contractors and the big box stores? Our high-quality woodworking, customized materials and cost-saving options. We have a shop where we make our own cabinets and countertops, so you don’t have to shop around!

The Design Process

To start the design process, you’ll speak with Kim at our Glastonbury office and schedule an appointment to meet with a professional designer on-site. We like to see the kitchen in-person to better understand how you want to use the space.

For new cabinets, we’ll first discuss whether the kitchen layout is staying the same or if you need more space. We can take down a wall, remove a closet or create separate workstations.

During the initial consultation, some of the questions we may ask include:

  • Do you want a coffee bar?
  • Will you need two sinks?
  • Do you want an island, prep station?
  • A cooking area or vented hood?
  • Do you need a beverage cooler?
  • A single or double oven?
  • Who will be using these areas?
  • Holiday or everyday use?

For cabinet refacing, we’ll inspect your current cabinets and make suggestions based on your needs and current aesthetic of the room.

Alterations and additions can easily be made during a refacing job because we are skillful cabinet makers. The cabinets often have to be altered to accommodate new additions to a kitchen. We can handle any modification or add-on and not miss a beat!

For instance, we can take an existing sink cabinet and transform it into a farm sink, without making a new cabinet or taking it out to our shop!

This advantage, along with our vast experience and custom materials, gives us a unique edge over other refacing companies.

Some questions we may ask about refacing include:

  • In what condition are the cabinets, outside and inside?
  • Are the cabinet boxes plumb and level?
  • Do you want to completely change the design?
  • Are you getting new appliances installed?

Your answers to these questions help us design a kitchen unique to your family. Next, we’ll present our extensive portfolio of before and after photos to help inspire your project and invite you to the showroom to see our quality products. We find this hands-on experience helps customers envision what they want in a new kitchen.

Choose from hundreds of stylish combinations and colors, including a complete selection of solid wood painted or stained, thermofoil and exquisite laminates, from traditional to contemporary. Once your selections have been made, our team will put together a design to your specifications!

The Building Process

A variety of factors can influence the length and cost of a kitchen project. We iron out all the details – including budget – before the building begins, so there are no surprises in the end.

Unlike most refacing companies who order stock pre-finished cabinet doors and drawers, customers get our handcrafted products for the same price! We have no sub-contractors; everything is done in-house and our owner is on every job site.

Our kitchen installers have many years of experience upgrading this central room in the home. While other installers might have to wait for a manufacturer to send materials, we produce everything ourselves, which eliminates any downtime.

Many customers may not initially realize we are general contractors who can handle the whole project, so you’re not dealing with multiple companies. In addition to cabinets and countertops, we can install tile backsplash, undercabinet lighting, flooring and plumbing.
